Have you experienced a loss of……. a loved one, a relationship, work or any form of an ending and are unsure of your feelings or feeling overwhelmed?
We all experience changes in our lives that’s hard to bear and perhaps even harder to deal with. Whether it’s an un/expected loss, abuse, changes of self or feeling anxious it can leave one with uncertainty, without purpose, turmoil and unrest (to name a few).
Hi, I’m Rekha, a Person Centred adult Counsellor offering both individuals and couples counselling. My aim is to provide a safe, compassionate, confidential space and time that is yours. A place for you to be heard, seen and listened to. A place for you to express, to explore and to feel without judgement, whilst working at your pace through your struggles.
My approach honours your being as you are and to support you in working with your struggles to move towards your desired goals, by creating and sustaining genuine warmth, empathy and authenticity within the counselling relationship. I offer a fluid non structured approach to the sessions allowing you the time to explore your unique self, your journey and self-discovery without judgement. I aim to support you to trust your own ability and prospects for self-change through conviction and autonomy.
The duration of your therapy can be open ended or a fixed number of sessions, depending on your preference. Please contact me via email to discuss your needs. From personal experiences, I understand all too well how daunting and nerve wrecking of an experience it can be when deciding to start counselling, therefore, I offer a free initial 20 min phone call providing an opportunity to ask questions and enabling us to get a sense of how we may work together.
