I am a Person Centred, MBACP registered counsellor offering both short and long-term sessions depending on individual needs.
At the heart of my approach is creating and sustaining genuine warmth, empathy and authenticity within the counselling relationship. During our counselling sessions we will work together at your pace in a safe and confidential space for you to explore your unique self, your journey and self-discovery without judgement. Rekha aims to support you to trust your own ability and prospects for self-change through conviction and autonomy.
I work with individual adults, adolescents and couples who are experiencing a wide range of issues. I am committed to helping my clients move towards their desired goals and believe passionately that the therapeutic relationship can help you to live a more fulfilled life.
I have experience of working with a wide range of client issues including but not limited to :- Anxiety, depression, low confidence, relationships, trust, shame, self-harm, ADHD, low self esteem and stress at work. I have a particular experience of working with trauma, domestic abuse including sexual abuse and rape, emotional and physical abuse.
